Barbara AnneASHDOWNGerald, Lisa, Andrew, Wayne and the grandchildren wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone who attended the funeral service of the late Barbara Anne Ashdown, which took place on Monday March 10, 2008 at Rosemount Funeral Home, Abertillery. Thanks are given to relatives and friends for the kindness and sympathy shown to the family during their recent bereavement and for cards, telephone calls and messages of condolence. Special thanks are given to the Ambulance Service, Dr Dexter and his colleagues and to all the staff on Ward 4/2 at Nevill Hall Hospital for their care, consideration and professional manner. The family would also like to thank all the agencies involved in Barbara's care over the years whilst she was at home. Many thanks to Claire, Gavin and Julie for the buffet at the Commercial Inn, Abertillery and to Father Patrick Coleman for a comforting service. Finally thanks to all the staff at Co-operative Funeral Care in Abertillery for the dignified manner in which all the funeral arrangements were carried out.
